Cheyne Horan |
Legendary Surfer. Free thinker. One of the best surfers the sport has ever known and all around nice guy. Designer of the winged keel starfin and advocate of the single fin. Our entire program is pretty much based on Cheyne's experimentation with board design from the late seventies throughout the nineties. Ours is the 21st century version. Cheyne's revolutionary approach is timeless and creative to this very day.

Geoff Mccoy |
One of the true giants of our sport. Not a corporate shaper/surfer Mccoy has probably been one of the most influential of all shapers. He invented the planshape that later became the modern shortboard and has once again changed the sport with an update on his famous lazor zaps with his Nuggets. For us at Revolution...Geoff is one of our greatest influences.
![]() ![]() Here is an article on Geoff. It's better than most that have been written, but still leaves out a book or two on the man's acomplishments.

Steve Forstall |
Steve Forstall has been on a Revolution since he began shaping. Never a status quo craftsman...Steve began shaping at a time when you had to carve works of art out of blobs of foam...prior to pre shaped blanks. His specialty hybrids and eggs have been hight prized for years and you never know what part of the world you will find one of his boards. Aside from being a great shaper, Steve is a long time friend and a unique individual.
We are happy to have Steve as part of the Revolution movement.
